Murka Records is a music label founded by Yevheniia Tonkonoh, inspired by the raw energy and melancholic spirit of grunge music. The name “Murka” has personal significance to Yevheniia, as it’s a nickname given to her by friends, evoking a sense of nostalgia for her home country. The cat, a symbol of independence and sorrow, perfectly captures the essence of grunge – the genre that defines the label.
